What is your jewellery made from?

All my pieces are made from .925 sterling silver, 9ct gold or 14ct gold. I do occasionally incorporate other metals into my designs, such as brass, or gold vermeil plating but this will be clearly identified in the product info. All earring posts and hooks are sterling silver.

​How should I look after my jewellery?

Make sure to remove your jewellery before swimming, sleeping or showering. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasives, as these can discolour the metal and stones. Polish regularly with a soft polishing cloth. Be careful about hitting your jewellery on hard surfaces as this can cause the jewellery to become misshapen or damaged. If your jewellery does become dirty, clean in hot water with a little dishwashing liquid and a soft toothbrush. Dry carefully. If your jewellery has an oxidized finish, this can wear away over time.

The piece i want is only available as Made to Order? Is there any way to get it faster than 3 weeks?

If you are in urgent need of something please get in touch and I may be able to do a rush order for you. This will be dependent on my workload, and stock levels, as well as outside factors such as potentially having to send it for casting. Please contact me via email or through the contact page if you have an urgent enquiry.

Do you do custom orders?

Absolutely!

I would love to make something just for you. Email or DM me and I can work out a design and rough costing for you. No actual making will start until the agreed deposit has been paid. Please don't be disheartened if I have to turn your request down - sometimes things are outside of my scope and i may not feel comfortable to create your dream piece. If you have something in mind that I can create within my design aesthetic please get in touch!

Are custom orders more expensive?

No! It can be quite affordable to get your very own bespoke piece made. Costs of metal and stones can vary daily, but once we have locked in a price that won't change. I am always happy to try and create something within your budget, so if you have an idea - let me know! I can offer suggestions and different options for you.

When will I get my order?

Things listed in the shop as available, are ready to be sent, and will be shipped within 48 hours. Anything that is labelled 'Made to Order' will be pieces that are not held in stock, or that require individual sizing. These pieces can take approximately 3 weeks to complete, so please allow plenty of time. If there are to be any delays, this will be communicated to you. If your order contains both types of items, it will be held until the Made to Order item is complete, so if you need a ready to ship piece urgently, I recommend placing separate orders.

Everything is couriered and tracked with NZ Post, signature required is an optional extra for your peace of mind.

Do you ship internationally?

There is an option to ship outside of New Zealand, and the cost will vary depending on location. If you are outside NZ, Australia, USA or UK please contact me and i will work out the best way to ship something to you.

There is a ring that I like but it is not my size. Can you change it?

If the ring is 'Made to Order' it can be made in any size that you require. Just be sure to indicate your size when your complete your purchase.

If it is an 'in  stock piece', in some cases I can resize rings to your specifications, however this is not always possible. I am able to create a new piece for you in the correct size if required. If you bought the wrong size, I am unable to refund you. Stacker rings are usually comfortable to be worn together with half a size difference, with wider bands (9mm plus) tending to need half a size up.

Why don't you exactly replicate your pieces? How will I know what mine is going to look like?

The short answer is, I don't want to. You can purchase machine made items of jewellery at any high street store. I want to create unique, beautiful, individual pieces, with integrity and quality which will last a lifetime. Anything 'Made to Order' is based off my original design, and will be replicated as close to the image you see on the website as I can make it. However, hand crafted item by their very nature are organic, crafted by a maker, not a machine. There are variations in stone shapes and sizes, particularly in the raw sapphires i use. If you have any questions - please reach out. I want to make sure you are excited and happy about your purchase :)
